Havent been to a meeting in at least 12 years. I have no idea what they do there now. Nor do I care. I wasted too many years on them as it is. Although interesting enough I had a dream last night. I was talking to a male gay couple that were j's. They said they did not have sex but was finding it harder to stay in the cong. Then a woman walked up and said her daughter was being molested by an elder. I told her to call the police. Suddenly an elder whom I used to know entered the scene and talked to the three of them. I told him he had no power or imput into anyones lives. He took them to an elders meeting and when he came out he told me that I was apostate and was now disfellowshipped. So I was the scapegoat for the whole deal. Weird, huh?

by rather be in hades ini'm a big science nerd and i remember when we were going over the creator book, that the big bang doesn't necessarily prove there is no god.. i said this comment during book study and the conductor's jaw dropped.
everyone was pretty uncomfortable and it didn't help that he ct me off as i was explaining the red shift and mom wasn't too happy about all that.
i had to do a lot of bible research and write some nonsense about how the big bang was not reality or some sort...ugh.. .

by hemp lover ini live in a majority-minority neighborhood, so i get the double witness whammy of my street being worked by both spanish- and english-speaking congregations.
jws come to my door about four times a year, but i stopped answering years ago.
what's interesting is that about two years ago, they stopped knocking on my door or ringing the doorbell.

Rick Fearon And Those Who Knew His Wife Inez

i've known their cousins, uncles, daughters, nephews, etc.. i know that rick can't post here and i understand the reasons.. i just wanted to say that rick has suffered a terrible loss and he dearly loved his ill wife, inez.. i want to thank mouthy for letting us know about what happened to inez a couple of weeks ago!
and i hope that we can show kindness and caring for rick during his time of grief and sorrow..

I don't know anything about him but I know that grief is horrible. I would advise him to get professional counseling, possible short term meds and most importantly....don't do anything big in your life for at least one year.
